The Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter of SHRM was awarded the SHRM Foundation Chapter Champion medal in 2005 for its support of the Foundation.  To receive the Chapter Champion medal, a chapter must:

• Make a chapter contribution to the SHRM Foundation’s annual campaign
•   To receive the Chapter Champion medal, a chapter must:

   

  
  
  • Make a chapter contribution to the SHRM Foundation’s annual campaign
  • Appoint a Foundation coordinator
  • Educate members on the work of the Foundation
  • Hold a special event fundraiser to encourage individual contributions
  

  The SHRM Foundation is a not-for-profit affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management.  The Foundation promotes research, innovation and the use of research-based knowledge.  It makes the research-based knowledge accessible and actionable for the HR profession.
