Employee Benefits Specialist

The Specialist will be responsible for the day to day administration of Crystal Run Healthcare’s benefit programs. Provides input into the benefits planning process based on market surveys and cost/utilization studies to ensure benefit plans are competitive and current. Prepares all required government related documents and employee communications materials relating to benefit plans. Maintains key relationships with vendors. Provides counseling to employees regarding benefit plans and plan provisions.

3-5 years related benefits or employee benefit experience required. CEBS professional designation a +.

Supervisor, Field Human Resources – 2nd Shift

The Field Human Resources Supervisorsupervises the proper administration of all employment duties and policies and data integrity of HRIS system at facility level.You’ll also be responsible for:

 ·         Performing recruitment activities, including advertisements, recruiting initiatives; interviews, coordinates employee relations, orientation, entering PCN’s, new hire paperwork, etc.

·         Coordinating and preparing various correspondences, record keeping and file maintenance etc.

·         Recommends procedural changes which may impact their area of responsibility.

·         Project work as assigned.

·         2nd Shift (Approx 3pm-11pm)

 

Requirements:

The driven candidate we desire should have:

 

·         Bachelors degree preferred

·         2-4 Years HR Generalist experience, 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred

·         Working knowledge of Employment Law and Regulations

·         Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule; 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts

·         Bilingual in Spanish is required

·         Excellent verbal and written communications, proficient in MS Office Suite, strong interpersonal skills

·         SPHR/PHR Certification a plus

 HR Manager

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Human Resource (HR) Manager to oversee multi-site locations including a Fulfillment Center and Delivery Operations in Montgomery, NY.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Train and support operational managers and supervisors to ensure company goals for associate development, HR utilization and customer service are attained through consistent execution of human resource, training and operational plans

·         Ensure open communication of issues, initiatives, operating plans and responsibilities among location personnel, management and the corporate office to facilitate efficient and effective execution of training plans and HR programs

·         Continuously demonstrate the ability to evaluate a location from a human resources perspective; partner with the appropriate resources and implement a pro-active, associate-focused plan with an end result of meeting the location’s associate, operational and financial goals

·         Generally provide support for large population of associates geographically isolated from “core” human resources support staff / professionals

·         Primary HR responsibility for exempt and non-exempt associates in multiple locations including a fulfillment center and delivery operation

·         Significant strategic and tactical interaction with senior operational or general management executives

·         Provide direction and support to the operational management team in developing associates through training, coaching, performance management and appropriate placement to maintain a high caliber work force and a qualified pool of promotable candidates

·         Ensure consistent and fair administration of Staples Policies and Procedures throughout the organization, while also ensuring that Local, State and Federal laws and regulations are adhered to

·         Demonstrate ability to positively influence the behavior of associates at all levels of an organization

·         Serve as an employee advocate in the resolution of workplace issues and/or conflicts

·         Advise management personnel on the fair & consistent handling of situations requiring discipline, ensuring associates are not terminated without the involvement of appropriate operational and HR representatives

·         Manage the recruitment, selection and hiring process to find and attract highly qualified and motivated candidates at all levels of the organization

·         Ensure that company pay administration policies are applied fairly and consistently


Qualifications: 

 

Basic:

  • Bachelor Degree required

  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience

  • Proven ability to manage, develop and delegate to support team

  • Experience working with both hourly and exempt associates

  • Ability to understand and execute within sound human resources procedural and legislative guidelines

  • Competency in all Microsoft applications

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills

 

Preferred:

  • HR Certification and/or Masters Degree

  • Human Resource Generalist experience in manufacturing, warehousing or retail distribution
