2007 MHVSHRM Government Affairs Goals

1. Increase attendance at HR VOICE IN ALBANY DAY (NYS SHRM’s Lobby Day)
2. Have one chapter meeting focused on Government Affairs
3. Include a webpage on Chapter’s website focused on Government Affairs
4. Provide a Government Affairs update quarterly at Chapter meetings
5. Have a minimum of 4 Chapter Newsletter articles related to Government Affairs
6. Maintain a link from Chapter website to SHRM Government Affairs main webpage
7. Encourage members to utilize the SHRM Government Affairs website to write or email their legislators.
